Despite telling myself the camp's gonna be an enjoyable and fruitful one, I came back cursing I'll never ever go kayaking ever again.
Is it just me or what?
Why?
Yes, I can't suffer torment, yeah, call me town girl, go back to your mummy, blahs.
Yeah, so what.
I am, I don't deny the truth.
Kayaking from Pasir Ris to Pulau is a feat.
I didn't imagine the currents would be so strong, the tent would be so squeezy and stuffy.
It's true - when you're kayaking, you can really hear the sound of wind crackling, rustling through the leaves, adamant to capsize your boat.
I partnered with Anatasia, and seriously, we were the last two to reach the campsite.
We were already glad to know we made it there after all.
Jovina was telling me, after the camp, like, wow, we finally made it alive.
I sighed, out of relief and glad.
So anyway, it was raining a little whilst we were making our way there.
We paddled, struggled, moaned, cursed and finally reached the campsite.
The campsite looked relatively OK.
Charmine was telling me, if we were some passer-bys to land on this campsite, we might think, wow, cool, beautiful scenaries, etc.
But then we got back into reality.
I revelaed the ugly truth of course, telling her that we were, however camping here.
And then we go sighing together.
Evening came fast, and we pitched our tents up, and were allocated our ''tentmates'' .
I got into the same group with Eline, Nicole, Anatasia and Farhah after the second selection as there were some mistakes and so.
We had our dinner, washed up and our solo nightwalk after that.
The solo nightwalk went pretty well, it wasn't so scary as expected.
Because after all the waitings, I was eventually worn out, and I told Charmine, my nightwalk partner (girls get to go in pairs) that I was in no mood to fear anymore.
I wasn't afraid so much at first, then the brief the instructor gave got be startled.
Come on, a wild boar may come running across you, godness know what would happen.
So anyway we went to sleep after that, I keep waking and fall deep into slumber repeatedly.
Everyone were doing the same stuffs too.
It was hot, squeezy (5 per tent), stuffy in the tent.
I sleept in between Nicole and Anatasia, by the way.
So when you flipped on one side, you could really bang into someone.
Well, there were snorings, but I'll shall keep it anonymous aight.
Right, nobody got to bath 'cause there were no shower bathroom.
Ok, I'm gonna stop here.
Going to the book fair with Xuanne now.
